Kristin Gibson has completed her new book, "Ordinary Monsters," an exciting children's story about a young girl who is excited about moving into her new house but soon discovers there are monsters everywhere. She knows she must get rid of them, but first, she must convince her parents that they are real. Mystery, creativity, bravery, and perseverance await.
Author Kristin Gibson pursued communications at Rochester Institute of Technology and went on to receive her master's degree in counseling from Seton Hall University. She then became a full-time licensed addiction counselor in South Carolina.
Today, as a wife and mother of two young children, inspiration is everywhere for Kristin. Using humor and imagination, she turns everyday life and occasional chaos with her family into exciting adventures and life lessons.
Kristin Gibson discusses the process behind creating her book, sharing, "I needed a way to comfort my five-year-old daughter and ease her fears of our new house. I wanted to show her she was braver than she felt."
