MALIBU, Calif. - April 22, 2020 - PRLog -- Defense Contractor's Cold Awakening to New Covid Business Reality!

Defense Contractor Kim Devane (niece of actor William Devane), owner of Divine Imaging Inc. headquartered in Malibu, CA celebrated her April birthday and Earthday by taking a frigid ocean plunge in Bandon, Oregon to help adjust to the new reality of business and working remote.

We are mostly filling open market orders for PP&E merchandise.  Access to nationally back-ordered stock of Masks, Sanitizer, Gowns and Gloves has finally opened up---
but the sick, twisted irony is they are mostly coming from China!  Our business model had to change.

The federal government clearly had to adapt too!!  The GSA Senior Procurement Executive (SPE) Class Determinations and Findings are temporarily allowing the procurement of non-TAA compliant PPE products under FSS contracts to support Covid-19 response.  Before Covid-19 if you accidentally sold Non-Compliant products through your GSA Schedule you run the risk of being charged with hefty fines that could go as high as $1 million (or more), or significant penalties such as having your entire contract revoked and being charged with a crime via the False Claims Act."

Divine does know a little about this.... WE were fined almost $2 million dollars over 15 years for accidentally selling Chinese pencils!

It's a Divine New World now!

Divine Imaging is a recent awardee of the 2GIT $5.5 billion dollar technology contract administered through the General Services Administration--GSA. But that contract is clearly NOT producing right now!!

"WE are not selling a ton of technology right now. We are scrambling to fill orders for PP&E merchandise to federal agencies and hospitals, Military Bases, Ships & Carriers- Army, Navy Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard, DHS via DoD Fedmall and GSAAdvantage.  It has been an interesting adaptation to keep the company afloat."

Thanks to Notre Dame graduate  and Chief of Operations  & Technology superhero Hank Williams,  Divine has patched together a remote system with "duck tape and bailing wire".
Our systems and operations were not built to work remote but we are adjusting.

Our goal is to keep a paycheck going out to our loyal Team. At Divine we are scrappers, underdogs-- a combination of people representing every diverse background-- but we come together and get shit done!
