Eden Thrives Within: A mind-blowing journey of poetic enlightenment

Marlborough, Wiltshire Jul 2, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Seven years after Award-winning author J.M. Harrison was diagnosed with a life-altering progressive neurological condition, he had pretty much given up on his career as an inspirational author, when a Buddhist retreat enlightened his mind.

"Eden Thrives Within is a collection of awakening poetry which came about from the Zen intensive I took part in." Says Harrison. "The book wasn't planned in any shape or form. As the retreat ended the poems just came pouring through, so I'm honouring the placeless place from which they came. I hope they inspire readers to heal, learn and grow, for that's their purpose."

Incredibly, since the retreat ended in late March 2022, Harrison has composed over 100 poems, and several pieces of classical music and started writing a new book, so the author, composer, and poet are clearly inspired.

"Being a writer, musician and mystic, over the years I've experienced numerous awakenings and episodes of oneness, but this time it has stayed, or rather I've remained." He explains.

And the early reviews on Amazon are buzzing;

 "I will treasure this beautiful book of poetry, a mixture of profound, inspiring, and enlightening poems that point in the direction of the stillness within."

".... with echoes of Eckhart Tolle, Sufi poet Rumi and English mystic William Blake, this fascinating collection of poems is authentic food for the soul."

"... a collection that is moulded by a poet who knows what is most important: mind, body, and soul."
